"Twilight's Rose" & "Sonic A.S

Tue May 19, 2009, 1:44 PM
Well, my friends, I've been having loads of fun drawing Sally Acorn. I'm glad I could draw her for you guys. But for awhile now, I've been working on a story inspired by and based on "Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops+". I called it "Twilight's Rose". The story isn't about Naked Snake aka Big Boss, but about a female soldier who is a spy getting valuable information from under Gene's nose. This is kinda like an alternate "Universe" from Kojima's story, so the events from the original are changed and most don't happen at all. Well the spys name is Sally (Who would've seen that coming?) and she's run away from Gene in an attempt to escape the country with her information. Gene sent men to capture her and bring her back, but some of these "men" don't just "capture" her: They do more. The story gets deep when a soldier named Jack saves her from some of these men. Meanwhile, Omega and Alpha are sent by Gene to make sure the job is done. I'll write the final version of Chapter 1, then submit it here.
Another story I felt like writing, is my own story of Sonic and Sally ("Sonic A.S."). It will be more mature than the Archie series comics or the cartoon series satAM, but it will stay true to it's roots, while being a completely different story.
Tell me what you think about these please. If I get a response or two, I'll be glad to submit these.

  • Mood: Joy
  • Listening to: The sound of a air conditioner. Weird huh?
  • Reading: What I'm typing right now, duh.
  • Watching: Malcom in the Middle
  • Playing: Sonic
  • Eating: Burritos yummy! :3
  • Drinking: Water

I'm a nice person who cares about those around me. I love to draw Sally Acorn, though I started drawing anime first. After a few years, I decided I'd stop wishing I could draw my favorite cartoon character and actually try. On January 1st, 2008 I drew my first Sally drawing with a new years goal: To master drawing her. I'm no master, but I can easily draw Sally Acorn anytime. Other than drawing Sally, I like to play Guitar and Video Games. If anyone wants me to draw something involving Sally Acorn, let me know ^_^

lol I know, I'm joking. But if you want to fix that, try to remember that tears in real life are not blue, and also have no outlines. so if you want to make it look like tears you can create a difference in the shades between the tears and her face. Play with that enough making the tears seem much lighter and creating a little sense of reflection in them and you'll have some pretty good looking streaming tears. however if you would like to still add blue put a tinge of blue only in where the tears are concentrated the most; on the bottom of the eyes near the tear ducts. But over all it's a great drawing. Keep it up Sal!
:iconsalacorn93:
Lol so constructive aren't you? Thanks for the advice. I'll work on it. Btw, if there's any other advice you want to give or you think could help, let me know please. : )
